Based on the background, photo appears to be the mid 50's.
From Georgia, Eddie McDonald was more or less considered
a local at the Jacksonville Speedway. Always there most Saturday
nights for years.


This color photo of a #90 recreation  with an older Eddie McDonald standing by.


Before my time. Probably a  very stock 34 Ford. Used a  AMT 34 Ford truck frame
and running gear and a flathead Ford engine. Skinny resin tires.







My memories of Eddie McDonald are from the 70's when the track had switched
over to late models. He also ran a few Grand Narional races and the Permatex race
in Daytona...

Really like these older sedans and coupes. Nothing fancy about them, just slap them together and go racing.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.
