Huge Fantasy Racing Announcement!!

I am thrilled to announce the inaugural season of the FAST Modified Division! I've had this idea for quite a while now and decided now was the time to launch a brand new fantasy racing series. This will consist of custom scale modifieds from any era. Like the Fantasy Cup Series, drivers will be fictional and positions will be drawn for qualifying and race results. Points will work in the same way as well as 5 bonus points for best in show. Teams will be allowed up to 4 entries. Races will run through September and October and will be on dirt and paved tracks.

I'm also planning on making contingency decals for the series so message me your address to get 4 sets!!

It's right up my MPC alley! Sounds great to me. Will I be able to use my previously posted builds? Or do you suggest a completely new build? I'm hesitant to paste a FAST decal on my #3 Ole Blue, 2X Flemke tribute build, #1 Charlie Jarzombek tribute build, or #61 Richie Evans completed build. Can they be posted and/or entered with their names as drivers? Thanks, Rattlecan.

....Count me in, I have a '40 Willys coupe bodied/ Tobias chassis build.  Looks to be early '70's ish .....another ride from the John Gorday racing stables.

Same as with Fantasy Cup, this will be with fictional drivers. Tribute builds should be fine though. You don't have to build all new cars but if you decide to, I can still send the decals. I'm planning on entering the Vega I built a while back plus a new one I'll probably start on once I finish my trailer. I'll post official registration in July.

Wish I had a finished modified out of storage. I'd love to enter the inaugural series. With my focus on finishing up the new place and our upcoming move I don't have one out to enter.

Steve, you can use one or two of mine, and say you are factiously renting from me, and you will be driving for the season. Pick one or two and post as yours. If we aren't breaking the rules.

Steve, you are now the proud owner of the #7. You will not be driving for me. You will be driving for you. Post and enter it as your property. Your crew and crew chief. It is a 1937 Chevy with a 427 Chevy engine which you can swap out for a Ford engine or whatever is your choice. The car is on the trailer and headed to your place. I hope Razorback can help you out with the details. I can post more pics if you like. Good luck.
