Welcome aboard, Anne !! Great to see you guys and all the others on Saturday.

Here's Anne's outstanding Edsel at the show.
Folks, this is a beautiful build. Bare metal foil............ I would NEVER attempt that.
I heard a rumor that she may be interested in building a race car next.......  :D

I'm kicking myself because I didn't get a pic of Anne with her car.

Gary Davis

Man...that really looks GREAT Ann! First build and you did BMF! WAY to go GIRL!!!

Hey John....I think she just might be tak'en over the work bench area...eh? LOL...

Thanks, Jim. Who knows what she will do next.

John,
You may be cooking and washing dishes soon, my friend !!  :-\

5 (yes 5) new kits!   What have you guys gotten me into?

Actually, I'm working on something patriotic.

john2

She really worked long and hard on it.  We will try to get our own pictures of it tomorrow plus some of mine.

You'll have to share some of your techniques Anne!  John who?   ;D
I appreciate people that actually build and post models.

Well, we stay pretty busy.  I thought we'd try to post our pictures today, but have run out of time.  My 1/16 Freddy Fryar Sedan and wingless sprint car on a trailer are on Dave's pictures but neither won anything.  My Wacky Racer coupe got 3d in Open Wheel,  and my Freddy Fryar 1/16  Chevy LM got 2d  in Miscellaneous/ Odd Scale. ( No pictures yet )  It was beaten out by either a turtle or bathtub on wheels.  Not sure which.

We will get to them soon.

A guy from Model Cars Magazine took some pictures,  but  I see where they have not published an issue in over a year.

Welcome Annie and congrats on the win. Nice to see more women builders coming in to the modeling world.
If you bought it a trucker hauled it.

I mind is a terrible thing to waste....has anybody seen mine??????

Welcome to the forum, Anne!  That's so wonderful that you and John can share the same hobby!  Your first build is awesome!  Beautiful job on the foil trim!  Great thing about this hobby we love is that the models are what brings people together and quite often life long friendships are cultivated.  Can't wait to see what your next build will be.  Your Edsel turned out very, very nice!!!  I hope to meet y'all at Memphis one day!  👍🏻🏁
