I am John a 71 year old New Englander currently retired to Gulf Coast Florida. I was a NASCAR fan from the 70s, then got busy with life, work, and family. I returned to NASCAR about the time Dale Jarrett was in the Thunderbird for Quality Care. I followed Dale, then Mark Martin, Bill Elliot, Kurt Bush, and of course Jr. My last time in the stands of a race was at Daytona in 2014 when Jr won after a long rain delay. I at one time had season tickets for Loudon NH. I build 1/24 NASCAR models, use to go to a site, Randy Ayers NASCAR Modelling Forums in the 90s to early 2000s. I enjoyed that site and one member in particular that helped me with a Fireball Roberts Galaxie build, Mongo was his screen name and he was I believe Bill a high school football coach in North Carolina if memory serves me right.
