Got the underpinnings mostly done to the point that I need them for now.

Patterned the rear wheel openings and filled them in with superglue and microballoons.

Determined setback on the body and cut new rear wheel well rough-ins.

Next I will shorten the greenhouse to pull the body front back to the firewall and then we'll bob the tail.
I appreciate people that actually build and post models.

Years ago these old Study's were the bomb for late model racing. If you opened up the oil returns in the heads, lightened the flywheel, and put a big four barrel on it, it would run with the big dogs.
Very nice build, for somebody from Arkansas. Or, anywhere actually. Just have to gouge you a little, because my mom's clan all come from Arkansas.

:)  Looking good.  I do like the shorter tail.

Looking good David. In my opinion the shorter tail makes it look much better, more like a modified.

This is on its way to be an awesome build. I definitely like the shorter rear myself. I have no imagination for something of this magnitude. You KILL it !!
My worst day of building STILL beats my best day at work !!

I thought that big butt looked pretty good, however it does have a better aesthetic with the shorter hiney.  Great job.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.

This is coming along very nice. I can't wait to see what paint scheme and colors you come up with for this one.

I'm liking this mod a bunch!!!  I think you hit it right on the body dimensions!!!  Looks like your driver lost his mind, though!!!  All kidding aside, I really dig this mod, David!!!😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏁
