Jody Ridley ran his first cup race in 1973 at Atlanta (finished 5th) driving for Junie Donlavey. I recently met Jody at the Snowball Derby & hope to build a couple more cars he drove soon. I made the exhaust pipes on the car & lowered it a bit, but other than that it's pretty much box stock. The hauler is the gate bed C-600 kit with a Terry Barton resin hauler kit I found from a fellow in PA. The hauler portion needed some TLC since it was 18-20 years old, but it came to life with some messaging. Paint job on the car was tough & I probably won't do a 4 color scheme anytime soon. Also my first kit to use Tamiya paint on the whole build. Thanks for looking.

My gosh , Mark. this is one of the best Race car/ hauler combos I have seen done. Paint is beautiful and that three color mask had to be quite a challenge, but you nailed it. As usual your overall build cleanliness and getting the build correct is admirable.

That is an absolutely GORGEOUS build. Don't know which looks better, the racecar or the hauler. At any rate, it's the best looking car/hauler build I've seen yet! You knocked a paint job that I wouldn't even try right out of the park!
Awesome.

Both the hauler and race car are fantastic. They could easily be mistaken for the real thing.

I remember the car well.  If that paint job didn't drive you to the nut house YOU BE DA MAN!!!!   I don't even want to think about trying something like that.  This whole set up looks just super sweet!  Great work here, Well Done!!!!!   You got my vote.

That's a winner there, Mark.
Really nice work all the way around.

I remember it well. And Ol' Junie was a super nice fellow too.
